Near the nature
The route leads through corners of nature previously unknown to us, where complete harmony and tranquility prevail. It is easy to find a secluded spot there, perfect for a picnic.
The journey begins in the City Park in Żnin, near the Water Sports Center building (Szkolna Street). We head toward the city center and reach an intersection with a cobblestone surface, where we turn right by St. Florian’s Church. We then continue along 700-lecia Street, partly on a bike path, heading toward Inowrocław.
We arrive at the Leon Lichociński Roundabout, where we turn right onto Gnieźnieńska Street toward Gąsawa. We continue straight, passing Podgórzyn. At the intersection in Wenecja, we turn left toward Mogilno. Approaching the forest, after a bend in the road, we turn right onto an asphalt forest road. On the right, we pass a forest rest area.
We continue straight through the forest, passing on the left a turn toward the Gród Piasta Holiday Resort in Chomiąża Szlachecka, followed by the Pod Strzechą Bar and the Relax Holiday Resort, behind which we make a sharp left turn. We pass St. John the Baptist’s Church on the left and Herbarium Hotel & SPA, after which we turn right and continue straight ahead.
At the intersection by the St. Maximilian Kolbe Chapel in Laski Wielkie, we turn left and continue through Laski Wielkie, Laski Małe, and Folusz (with a long, steep climb), heading toward Wenecja. At the top of the climb, we pass an intersection and continue straight, then at the next gentle rise turn right toward the village of Pniewy.
At the end of the road, we turn left and head through Białożewin back to Żnin. At the intersection by the Municipal Sports Center in Żnin, we turn right onto Gnieźnieńska Street. At the roundabout, we turn left onto 700-lecia Street. At its end, after crossing the bridge over the Gąsawka River, we turn left onto Parkowa Street, then right onto Sądowa Street, and continue to the market square in Żnin, where the journey ends.
