City route around Lake in Żnin
The route runs around Lake Żnińskie Duże. The journey begins at Cukrownia Żnin, which is an excellent starting point. From the conference and leisure center, we head right toward the Leon Lichociński Roundabout, where we turn right onto Dworcowa Street.
We pass the narrow-gauge railway station and, just after Towarowa Street, join a bike path on the left side of the road. This path leads us over a bridge on the Gąsawka River to the intersection of Dworcowa and Mickiewicza Streets. There, we turn right toward Bydgoszcz, following a bike path that runs along the main road.
Opposite Hotel Martina in Żnin (on our left), we turn right onto Podgórna Street, crossing Mickiewicza Street. At the end of this street, we enter a bike path that runs along Lake Żnińskie Duże.
We continue straight, and at the end of the path—just past a cyclists’ rest area—we turn right onto a cobblestone road, which soon turns into asphalt. Continuing straight, we pass a bridge over the Gąsawka River.
We reach an intersection where we turn right toward the village of Wilczkowo. Along the way, we pass the Irena Vineyard in Wilczkowo. Continuing straight on the asphalt road, we reach another intersection, where we turn right toward Żnin.
We then rejoin the bike path running along Lake Żnińskie Duże, which leads us back to our starting point—the Cukrownia Żnin complex.
